We the EXUP 'hood? We the people of America? We residents of planet Earth?

Quite thought provoking FZRDUDE! are you looking at the whole situation from the corporate greed side of things? cuz if you are, I'm with you!!

What happened to businesses being happy with mediocre profits, providing income for families and the community in general, GREED is what has turned modern society into the mess it is in know!!

Businesses that are run by CPA's answering to Shareholders and not being happy with steady turn-over with reasonable profits. Just think of the number of small companies that have been taken over and then streamlined. If they fail to show profits above a certain point then
wind-em down, they may have had a small niche, with a market that is now being encroached upon by "big corporations". The small operators have no chance against these "profit hungry" sh*ts.

Real-Estate people are no better, many a case of profiteering has come to light all because of greedy individuals. They take normal individuals in, convince the market is down then go in for the kill etc.

Just look at the "big-cons" that have been run, millions taken off of people in the hope of them making huge returns, what happened to the days of just being happy with what you earned. I understand that some are innocent victims of the propaganda machine, but they still wanted to make bucket loads of cash! When these schemes are exposed, everyone cries "we have been done" but they were looking at the whole scheme through tunnel vision.

Look at the big banks, lending millions to normal Joe-bloke, that in no-way can pay back! just look at the number of people with multiple credit cards, low-income earners with little hope! And know the banks in Australia want access to peoples expenditure records for the previous 2yrs so they can scrutinize your credit/spending history. Isn't this shifting the "Blame", they willingly lent money to high risk customers.

As for society and the policing of it, it all has a cost, you buy-your taxed! , you speed - you pay fines. Just looking at the speeding, this is blamed as the main contributor to fatal accidents, yes this concerns me as a motorcyclist, but look at the statistics.

Contributing factors to fatalities not ranked in order
Road condition,Prevailing weather,condition of vehicle,inattentiveness,signage,speed etc etc

The biggest causes are related to road conditions, signage, driver/rider skill generally things that are going to cost a lot of money to fix. So the government chooses speed, above all else because it is the cheapest option, all the others are cost-prohibitive.

Well I am going to cut short here because I'm getting angry and p*ssed off with the way society is going! so thanks FZRDUDE, for letting me post my view on why, "we are F*cked."

Just my 2c worth
Regards
Ozzyfzr

Are you guys talking about the same flash video as the one in the link?

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/end

It was hilariously funny. Maybe I have a morbid sense of humor ... but I thought it was a funny clip.

Don't worry too much there gt, this is just a bit of sabre rattling.

We'll still get hit with a hike up to around the $500 mark, which will bring us more into line with aussie, but there political future depends on not pi$$ing the population off too much before the election next year.
