EXUP Worldwide

I finally have my carbs off and the previous owner hadn't touched them in a long time, nothing but varnish. Almost all the Yamaha phillips screws were stripped so I had to drill them out, why Yamaha doesn't use the same quality as Factory Pro astounds me. I do agree, power tools are alittle scary around my carbs, make sure the drill has a good clutch and pray for good luck. How do i pull the em tubes out of the carb? And what is the correct float height for a 38mm Miks on a YZF750R 1994? <p></p><i></i>

a old hard plastic card cut out , is also helpful! <br> Duncan<br> To remove the emulsion tubes, <br> They are accessed from inside the float bowls, you will see a brass hex nut, unscrew it and the jet body with the jets attatched can now be pulled off.<br> The emulsion tube is removed by pushing/knocking it out towards the top of the carb (diapragm side).<br> The emulsion tube also holds in the vacuum slide guide (white part) which may come out with it.<br> chris <p></p><i></i>

Don't forget, if using exup, no need to change jetting. All you need is needles and possibly springs, although some times better with stock.<br><br>Chuck D. <p></p><i></i>

Even if you use Pod K&N's and have an after market slip-on? I do have the stock header and exup, was going to replace the jets with 125's, any insight? <p></p><i></i>
