Questions on Dynojet and Exhaust...

My 1992 FZR 600 is bone stock. Soon I am going to install a Dynojet kit (Stage 1) and a slip-on.
First of all, would it be wise to forget about installing myself and have the shop do it? How difficult is it? I do have some mechanical aptitude and I have a little experience with re-jetting a carb, though, comaparitvely speaking, it was much easier on my last bike.
Secondly, does anyone have an idea which slip-on would be best? I am looking for a slight boost in horsepower, but not necessarily huge. Otherwise, I would install a stage 3 kit.
Or, should I go whole hog and go stage 3 from the beginning?
Also, any help in teaching me how to determine which slip-on and which jet kits will be most beneficial (mathmatical principles, whatever) would be extremely heplful.
Obviously, I'm a little lost.
Thanx.
John.

Ok...
Dynojet kits run Pig Rich
That said ...Get a Factory Pro kit...they have MUCH better support
Search for threads on this very subject
And on the subject of stage three.....with pods....DONT DO IT!!!!
The intake pressure pulses need an air box. they get reflected off the end of the pod and this REALLY screws up cyl filling in the midrange where they are not resonate
Just thought you'd like to know
Jim
