Does anyone know how you change or safely remove the ignition switch from the head stock without destroying either party? :poke

Take a dremel tool or similar and notch the safety screws and there you go. Now slotted and a reg screwdriver will work.

yeah, but how do you get to the screw to notch it without tearing up the ignition housing?

i am pulling mine but i ran into the same problem.

Dill the heads off the 2 bolts, seperate the two pieces, you can then unscrew the remainder of the bolts with a pair of mole-grips or similar.
