Motorcyclist magazine always has a feature in their magazine titled Smart Money. It's where they highlight their pick of used motorcycles. In the October 2006 issue of they have selected the 1987-1995 FZR1000 as the Smart Money bike.

Nice to hear from the Mag, what most of us already knew. Thanks for posting. I even learned something from it cuz I didn't know that the 91+ models were longer or had revised steering geometry. Kinda wondered why my current 94 feels different than my 89 model I had back in the day lol....
