Another beautiful day...

To stay inside, 95 degrees and humid, the bike runns hot when its like this, maybe I should try some of that radiator "ice" stuff. The sun is out and there is a nice breeze, but the legs get toasted from the heat coming out, maybe I am whining...

Cant ride the Katana 750, noticed last night I got a cord showing in the rear tire, not safe and I dont wanna push my luck. Funny, only got 2500 miles on the D208. Maybe I need a harder compound tire that will give more life, the front tire looks great though and has the same amount of mileage on it....

I still ride on the hot days, but it's not as much fun... But, once the sun goes down, it makes for some GREAT night riding

Just got to watch out for the deer. I was in my friends subdivision a couple of nights ago, and a deer came out of this guys front yard as I was riding by. Lucky I was able to react fast enough, and was only going about 25mph at the time...

I feel ya Outlaw, I have to ride 10 miles of country to get to "town". There can be alot of deer out there, mostly in the spring and fall (damn hunters anyways). Which brings me to another funny story that happened last fall....
I was out on the Katana (kan of tuna) and there were some deer hunters out, I am against hunting, it is unfair to the animal, kill it with yout hands or give it a gun to level the playing field. Anyways, there they were, taking aim, I saw it, and hit the ignition switch to let her rev down dead, then BOOOOOM!!!! Backfire city as the igniton switch flipped back on. The deer spooked, ran and they were pretty pissed, one of them tried taking a shot at me for i, but luckily he missed....
