That guy came up on another machining site I frequent. That was all done on manual machines...No CNC or cad work...
He is a VERY talented gentleman

That is superb, I would not like to think of how many hours went into that and I'm jealous of the amount of spare time this guy must have.

Nice one Mark. I'll have to wait to get home to watch the vid of it running.

EDIT: Watched the video. Wow.. that's really cool. I see the makings of a remote-controled dragster. On whatever scale it is, I wonder what it'd do in a scale 1/4 mile....

Incredible. A close uncle (tool and die guy) use to show me bits and pieces he'd work on and tell me all the figuring he had to do and steps he had to take just to make one piece (this before CAD, acutally before computers were common). It's hard to fathom the work that went into just one piece, let alone a sculpture like that.

I have a couple friends from when I ran a fuel bike that are building 1/8th scale top fuel bikes...comming to a parking lot near you...

That is pretty cool and he definately put alot of time into designing the whole thing, looks as if even the tiny fingers are posable.

Jim, yes, 1/8th scale drag racing would be cool, I am also a R/C nut and always have been. If your buddies are scratch building them, cool, if they are looking for a ready to build kit, derect them to www.NewEraModels.com They have a nitro harley drag bike (among other cool stuff).

Naw....
This is Puppet De Tullio of everybody's frame fame(this guy has built more big name top fuel frames than anyone on the planet. No kidding) and Big John from Weekend frames.
They have settled on a four stroke Honda weedeater motor. Blown and on fuel of course.
I'll email Puppet ina bit and see if he's got any pics
