Dunlop Qualifier

So I buy my latest set of Dunop D208 tires. I like the latest generation D208 even better than the previous set. Got the new set srubbed in and everything is good. Then I open the December 2005 issue of Cycle World magazine and what's on the inside ? Dunlop Qualifier ... their newest sportbike tire. Crap. I only have 400 miles on my tires and they come out with a new tire. :hissy
I guess I only have about 4K more miles to go before I need to swap out the D208s for the Qualifiers. So in the interim, if any of you decide to mount the Dunlop Qualifiers on your bike you can let me know how you like them.

I just ordered a set of Dunlop Qualifiers for mine, I'll post up my experience when they get here. Poor old Bridgestone BT010 in the rear is starting to look like a tire cutaway.

Hey, that reminds me... Eric, did you ever get that chain situation worked out?

Yeah, I just got the clutch, chain, and sprockets on a couple days ago. Now it 'just' needs tires, fork seals, valves adjusted, and eventually brake pads.

I've heard good reports on the Qualifiers from track day guys, but they still tend to favor the 208GP-A and 209s.

I did California Superbike school in May and Dunlop is a sponsor. They use Qualifiers on their bikes--fellow students said they liked them. (I brought my own bike).

At the end of class they announced they offer them to graduates for $200 a set shipped! I plan on getting me a set for the street when the time comes.

Yeah, that's a sweet deal. Bikebandit has them for around $240 shipped.
