Sure would be cool, and me thinks it wouldn't be very difficult to actually build the non-computer(y) parts.

I'm sure you could end up getting your money back as well by fair charges to the curious public.

Is this the guy who did as a masters or doctorate study on the project he called the Dyno 46. I bought one of his kits, similar to this? Why not?

The block of steel you need to build something up to 200 rwh only costs about 2500 au, machining ? depends who you can find who can machine it, but about a quarter of the block price.

Inertia dyno is a heavy bit of round knurled steel that gets turned by the rear wheel of a vehicle. the resultant measurement is speed of the weight vs time it takes to turn it to max rpm, adjusted to sae?

I sort of abandoned the project once I realized I probably would need a brake type dyno for hp over 200 rw. Still interested though.

Still reckon you'd get your money back eventually, even if you charged $20-50 a crack instead of the regular hundreds for a dyno charge.
