Well yamafans, how long before they put that in a FZ-1 ? Since I'm stuck here in NYC for 3 months riding an SV650 I've come to like having the power down low and NOW, so I'd like the V-8 sound in a more upright sitting position ... how long must I wait ???

I'd say Late 09 or early 10 as the FZ-1 is at it's two year due now isn't it? Seems like that that's the new MO amongst mc manufacturers and the 06 FZ-1 was the last major update I believe. My guess is they'll of course, stlightly detune it for even more midrange grunt and lose some of the fancy electronic sheisse.
