Thanks for you reply Jim, we had a look see at them and those squirrly rubbers look good, so we blew in some air to check and no leaks. It is rich from start to finish and only gets to about 80+ hp on the dyno. Tried pilots to no avail as well as different settings on the needles and bupcus. Going t...

YZF Slip-on from FZR1000
For any one looking for a slip-on for a YZF750 cudos goto to FZRDude and Hooligan, they were right on the money. You can use a slip-on from an FZR1000 89 in this case to fit an existing YZF750 stock header and mounting.
Thanks boyz!!

Carb Frustration
Anyone know a good tuner in Atlanta region who can help? Got the bike running and re-checked everything, from O-Rings on vacuum slides to O-Rings on diaphram side. Needles at 2nd from top and float levels @ 14mm. She still stays litup once you blip her for a good 10-15 seconds after you let go of th...

Carb tuning (again)
OK I have completely disassembled my carbs and cleaned them out on my YZF750 94. Made sure ust about every rubber thingy was tracked and removed before spraying it down. Re-assembled using new jets, factory pro config 3.0 needles and 130 jets that came with it, since I have a K&N pod. Dialed the jet...

I do agree, power tools are alittle scary around my carbs, make sure the drill has a good clutch and pray for good luck. How do i pull the em tubes out of the carb? And what is the correct float height for a 38mm Miks on a YZF750R 1994?

I finally have my carbs off and the previous owner hadn't touched them in a long time, nothing but varnish. Almost all the Yamaha phillips screws were stripped so I had to drill them out, why Yamaha doesn't use the same quality as Factory Pro astounds me. Does anyone have the Factory Pro carb kit in...

I've been out of the country for the past 6 weeks and got back and imediately went to my bike, to clean her up and get her running again. Sadly it has taken me a couple of days to get her running. A couple of weeks ago before I left I changed the plugs and there was some black soot, dry no oil, whic...

Does any one know if you can use a 96 servo with on a 94, the main wiring schematic from Haynes has the yellow and red leads differently from 96 US on?

<...
