I bought a pair of yzf 6 pots and made sure that they were working as they should like all 6 pistons in each caliper were free and moving when the brake lever was pressed, fitted them and bled the system of air and now i have good brakes, well far better than the std 4 pots, i didn't have a problem ...

yzf750 calipers

Hi will yzf750/yzf1000 6 pot calipers fit straight on to a 1990 fzr 1000 exup or is there some work involved to make them fit.

Engine swop

Thank for advice Chuck i have just fitted the 93 motor in to my 90 frame and got myself a radiator from a 93. so i just have to fit the rad. will it fit on the 90 mounts or do i have to make some brackets up? as it looks a bit different to the 90 rad.

:poke Thanks for the reply, so can i just fit the 93 and do away with the old oil cooler ? or isn't it that simple, i know that the radiator is a different unit than the 90 version.

I have a 1990 exup and i have just bought a 1993 motor as a replacement for the 90 ( as it needs a valve job doing) what are the main differences between the 2 motors. I know that there is a difference in how the oil is cooled but do the 2 motors differ internally and will there be any problems usin...

is there still a colour on the edge of the bearing if there is then replace the bearing with that colour bearing, there should be a number on the rod? usually locted at the base of the rod where the cap locates and as you say subtract the crank number from this gives the bearing number ie number 1 i...
