trackday at blackhawk farms 2nd-3rd of sept...

Post by yamaweezle »

what a blast that track is!!! it's quite tight in spots, and not many places to pass, but it was a learning experience none the less...i got bumped this last weekend from a "B" rider, to an "I" rider (beginner/intermediate)...that made my last track event of the year worth it!!! :D

Congrats on that bump to I. NESBA is quite a great club with a lot of good riders.

I'm still hanging around in B after a year at the track. Still, it's always fun and a great crowd to hang with.

sorry man, it was kind-of spur of the moment...i won a free day from clsb just days before the event...i did the whole weekend though...there will definately be a next time to blackhawk, so i'll make sure to post up before i go next time...i did make it to the CCS race that sunday we talked about, but it was after lunch, and everyone looked pretty busy...i was watching marshall skloss run all day (man, is he a good racer)...a friend and i hung around his pit the majority of the time...track days are one thing, but watching all the racer's mad scrambling to get everything ready for the next race was unbelievable...i'll catch you there sometime i'm sure... :D

Sunday they had me staged at turn 3 since we were shorthanded. Sucks having to work a corner AND drive the crash truck.
