Rim Stripes Anyone?

Post by M Hankel »

I've been wanting to put rim stripes on the bike for close to a year now. Every time I thought about the rim stripes, it seemed I was away from the computer, and when I was on the computer I was always thinking about something other than rim stripes. I was at the auto parts store the other day and picked up some red vinyl pin stripe tape in 1/4" wide.

Cost = $4...... Time= about 45 minutes to clean the rims with rubbing alcohol and apply the tape.

I think it's the best 4 bux I've spent on the bike so far. :cheers

Thanks Tim!

I know we mentioned it last spring, but we should meet up for a ride this year. St Helens ride maybe?

The only color that I can think of that'll look good on a Gold wheel would be Black.

I suppose you could do Red or Blue, but you'd have to have the corresponding colors on the rest of the bike.
