inop tach and runs on 2 cyl- 91 fzr 600

I had a major battery problem and barely limped my bike home. It died right as I pulled in and the turn signal relay and left side bulbs melted- (suspect from too much work from alternator?) After replacing relays and checking wires it fires up but only runs on 2 cyl and tach does not work.I also tried a different cdi box but same thing happened. Any suggestions? (harness hass no obvious metdowns) Thanks for you input! <p></p><i></i>
