For all the guys that know me, I need ya'lls addy! New laptop with no contacts! Just my luck to have both my PC & old laptop within 2 days of each other.
Yup, like I said, crashed the gixxer a couple of weeks ago. T-boned a '04 corolla. My bike aint as bad as the car though. Will have pics up soon. Damn people never see bikers coming. F'er pulled out right in front of me. I was goin about 35-40 MPH, just leaving work. I'm ok, but I can't say the same for his car. No insurance or drivers license and he was pissed at me! That is til my co-workers walked over. After threatening to call the police, he calmed down and offered to fix my bike! I quoted him at $1800 with a printed shopping cart from Bikebandit. I just had to add a couple of things I needed. Then he wanted my shop to repair his car. So, I've been working on his car out of his own pocket. I think I'm gonna streetfighter it for a while til i get bored of the look! Well see ya'll later

Bike hit the front door and my shoulder caved in the quarter panel!

Barney,
Glad to hear you came out of it ok!
But, how do you T-Bone a car at 35-40 mph and walk away from it? I'd like to know your secret!
I remember hitting a Ford Taurus with my wife's brand spanking new Toyota Corolla at about 35 mph. Got punched in the face with an airbag, and totalled the Corolla. Also totalled the Taurus. (16 year old kid, with two girls in the car didn't look before he tried to make a left turn. Guess he was distracted) That was a very violent collision, I can't imagine going through that on a bike without at least some kind of injury. You are a very lucky man!

I hit the car kinda at an angle. He was turning left out of a cross street. 35-40 MPH was fast when you're on a bike. I ended up using $350 of the money to order some forks, fighter headlight, bar-end mirrors, and an upper fairing stay. The rest goes towards my daughter's college fund. I actually walked away from the crash with a bruised shoulder! I'm just glad that was all

Boy are you lucky, glad your OK. Same happened to me on my RZ. Was going 35-40 in heavy rush hour traffic and some fool though I was a hole in traffic and used his momentum to pop a left turn. Never had a chance to hit the binders, but had enough time to jump strait up, do a flip over his roof and land on my feet. Skidded upright on my flip-flops slowed to running speed and never touched the tarmac. Totally destroyed the RZ and the Honda Civic I was fine, but the driver was a neverous wreck, would not unlock his door and come out ... too scared. A friend of mine drove me home so I would not have to face the police and a sobriety test. Got a new Harley out of it all. Hope I never have to do it again though.
