Wow, that is a great looking track. Congratulations
I think with the ride-drive day and recreational racing phenomenon being what it is, coupled with government over enforcement on the roads and everywhere else, that tracks are becoming a good business investment. The 3 tracks in the local vicinity are all busy

Nice looking track Tim, great elevation changes too.
When are you taking the FZR out for a run - make sure you mount a camera when you do

Beautiful Look Track for sure Tim,
It's funny that you tube video asks, "what could be more fun than this, " as whoever just finishes lapping the track, my answer to that would be,
Riding a bike on the very same track, would be much more fun, albeit they must have been driving a porsche but.... a bike's a bike. I would've had more fun on the track with an old GS550
So, I guess I'll have to make time for a bit more of an extended visit in the years to come eh Tim?

We have the Inde Motorsports Ranch an hour away from me. Nice track and facilities but it's a little pricey.
http://www.indemotorsports.com/site/
Inde Motorsports Ranch is a private motorsports club located just an hour east of Tucson in Willcox, AZ on over 1,700 sprawling acres surrounded by gorgeous mountain views. We offer our members unlimited, guaranteed access to our highly technical 2.75 mile road course and first class facilities.
Basic Membership
One-Time Initiation Fee: $12,500
Annual Dues: $3,000
The Basic Membership will no longer be available after September 1, 2011
Oops .. too late for Basic Membership. That means you will need to purchase the next level of membership.
Executive Membership
One-Time Initiation Fee: $20,000
Annual Dues: $3,000
But what the heck, it's more fun and cheaper than some of those stuffy private yacht clubs, polo clubs or golf club memberships.
I'm accepting donations for my Executive Membership in case any of you win the lottery and begin feeling generous. It makes a great Christmas gift.

That track looks great! I've been out of touch and didn't even now they were building a new track in the state. The last time I was racing in Shelton they had an old airfield with cones for turns (back in the early '90's)! It sucked! The only bikes I've ridden over there in the last decade had knobbies. It looks like WMRRA already has 3 dates scheduled for the new track in 2012. Sounds like fun.
Tim, are you up for a test and tune day when they open? We might need to round up some local brotherhood members for a gathering next spring.

Yah, ouch. $35 to become a club member here, track day runs $160 and a race weekend will set you back around $250. That's a bargain especially considering it's only 20 minutes door to pits!
