Heres some pics of the ride I went on about a month ago, 09-09-07. Headed north from Vancouver WA toward Cougar, then dropped back down into Carson and made a big loop back to the Couve. This was a great ride,,,,, curvy roads, and perfect temps. My riding bros that day. http://i34.photobucket.com/al...

I haven't had the opportunity to try out many tires on my Fizzer, but I do like these Pilot Powers I just put on. The bike previously had Pirrelli Dragons (might be an older model), and the turn-in is much more predictable than before. Also, I think the Pilot Powers might be getting phased out, as t...

Sweet!! Did you change the gearing with the 520 conversion? When I did mine I did the typical drop/up and changed the bike drastically (better). But then my 230+lb fat ass needed the mechanical advantage from the gearing lol... Glad to hear it's running better. I'm going for a scoot after work mysel...

DIY - Paintless Dent Removal (the lazy/cheap way)
Hopefully this isn't a re-post........... So, I was cruising another website and came across an interesting way to remove dents. http://www.wisebread.com/remove-car-dents-quickly-and-cheaply I have a dent in each side of my gas tank, and I think I'm going to try this technique, and see how it goes. ...

How sad!! I got that email too, but had no idea what was behind it until now. After reading through some of the posts from that other link, it sounds like a big can of worms to me. It also sounded like someone didn't do enough research into the real cause of everything before pulling the trigger wit...

I haven't seen one on the road for a long time, 2 years maybe? I got a ride in one when I was about 13 or so. Man, a few subtle changes could really improve that car alot. Those wheels are down right hideous, and the rear louvers over the back window is def. an 80's fad. Tint the windows, lower it a...

Ouch, that looks nasty. Sounds like you came out of it pretty lucky though if you only eFFed up 2 valve seats. That could have been a very expensive chamber repair. What kind of pistons are those? You should be able to order up one piston instead of a whole new kit. What kind of 1/4mi times and trap...

I'm not sure about the pre-89 models, but the 89+ FZR 1000's actually have a coating on the frames. I realized this back when I polished the frame on my old 1990 FZR way back in the day. It's a tough factory coating too. As for giving the aluminum a brushed look, a heavy duty Scotch Brite pad works ...

What would you guys be willing to pay for a very high quality chain press. I am about to buy a heat treat oven, I can make these out of tool steel and just about guarantee that you will never break them. I can look into it. Rather than re-invent the wheel, how about just producing a good quality re...
