Well, the fairings and bellypan that I sourced locally are a bit rough, but should come up ok with some TLC from the paint & panel guys.

Re: I don't want to go to work today...
Oh yeah, levers arrived yesterday from HK (Cheers for the Ebay link Spook) - I love getting stuff from HK, they were packaged in their own little cloth baggies, in a cardboard boxed covered with stamps, wrapped old-school with parcel twine!
Now to wait for the big Australian package

Re: Bike graphics
@Monsterbishi: First time I see Exup in that lettering. I suspect that's as a result of my bike being from the Japanese domestic market, my Mustang is even funnier in that respect 8-) (and I admit, I enjoy doing it :shh: ). It's quite an addictive process, was up in the middle of the night with a r...

Re: Bike graphics
@Monsterbishi, don't take this the hard way, I do appreciate the work you are putting into it, but I don't think your logos are representations of the real thing. Should be pretty close given that I used my own bike as the template :-) http://203.97.119.119/yzf750r/exup%20deltabox.jpg http://203.97...

Re: Bike graphics
Nice work. I've only got one example of the delta box sticker here, it's dimensions are 184mm x 18.5mm. I'm sure they probably vary dimensionally model to model. http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x347/pandoras_bits/ac7bd9ab.jpg[/img]
Yeah, looks like they've changed the font from year to ...

And here's the EPS, as with my last creation, the curves and spacing are a bit nasty, but it's a good start!

Re: Bike graphics
I grabbed a page of a brochure that I found on the web, traced over it vector style then manually tweaked it until it was symmetrical. If you have the deltabox graphic in a decent flat scan it'll take me about a hour to recreate. Have snaffled some off the net that might be ok, might be my tonight p...

Bike graphics
Started draughting up the graphics for my bike today, being that the originals have suffered as a result of the black spray paint that the thief applied over them! So whilst the wife was at the Gym - I drew this up (Adobe Freehand) The curves are rough, and there's a bit of alignment to do, but I st...

Re: Sonic cleaner - before and after (links inside)
I thought that ultra sonic cleaning was one of the primary methods used to clean carburettors, of which are made our aluminium? Quite a difference there! The unit I'm looking at is an industrial unit and large enough to take a rack of assembled in-line 4 carbs I would imagine it would depend on fac...

Re: Sonic cleaner - before and after (links inside)
Also, with sonic cleaning you also need to remember to not put soft aluminium alloys in - they won't appreciate being hit with a zillion tiny sonic hammers! The other thing to realise with a lot of the parts, gunge/dirt will sometimes appear to remain attached - but will be softened and usually wipe...

Sonic cleaner - before and after (links inside)
Here's a couple of nuts/bolts I ran through my sonic cleaner that I normally use for cleaning brass for reloading: Using distilled water, about 20 minutes of run time and a tablespoon of Brasso. So, for cornering, what's better in your opinion, having your two best friends up close to the tank, of giving them plenty of room and sitting at the back of it?
